Swedish actor. Born Bill Istvan Günther Skarsgård on August 9, 1990 in Vällingby, Sweden to well known Swedish actor Stellan Skarsgård and his wife My, who is a physician. His siblings include Alexander, Gustaf, Sam, Valter, Eija as well two half-brothers Ossian and Kolbjörn (from his father’s second wife). Brothers Alexander, Gustaf and Valter are also actors. Bill is the fourth oldest Skarsgård child.
Bill is 6’3.5” (1.92m) tall and green-eyed with dark blonde hair. Bill Skarsgård's big break came in 2010 when he twice made the lead role in Andreas Öhman's The Lazarus Project - in both the short film and feature film versions. The long film version resulted in five Guldbagge nominations, including one for Bill for Best Actor. He also received the Audience Award at the Seattle International Film Festival for his performance and the film was chosen as Sweden's Oscar Grant. The same year he also drew attention for his performance in World Aids Day by Hannes Holm. He was a model for the Swedish clothing company H & M and also was named one of the European Film Promotions Shooting Stars in 2012.
