Therese Frentz
Team Member
Excited to wake the dormant warrior inside, Therese is proud to represent injured female soldiers. She aspires to be an empowering example of what can be accomplished despite having both visible physical injury and the invisible scars of PTSD.
Mark Wise
Team Member
Even with injury, Mark continues to inspire other wounded veterans by participating in most of the activities he enjoyed before his accident; mountaineering, cycling and running. He hopes that this challenge serves as further motivation to others, showing that anything is possible post-injury.
Margaux Mange

Margaux has been focused on the South Pole challenge ever since discovering Soldiers to Summits, the US based organization that is partnering with us, and is ecstatic to be able to join the United States selection squad.
Ivan Castro

Being the first blind graduate of the Maneuver Captain’s Career Course at Fort Benning, Georgia, Ivan is already a pioneer for injured service men and women. He is honoured to be a part of the South Pole team and looks forward to furthering his inspiration to others.
Inge Solheim
Team Guide
Inge was the Walking With The Wounded guide for the 2011 North Pole expedition, and is looking forward to being a part of the new challenge. Inge has experience of leading expeditions and adventures all over the world and derives huge satisfaction from leading people to amazing places and life changing experiences.
